Date.

Today I went on a date! It was really cute and really sweet. Awww. We went to a museum and then to this crazy shop that sells loads of vintage furniture, and it was soo awkward at first, we were both just really shy then we went to a bar and had a few casual drinks (This included a shot of tequila with a actual real worm inside it??! What?!) I think that shook the nerves off and I ended up having a real nice time!

I wore this jumper I got and showed on the last post, and it was probably a big mistake, I got very hot and sweaty (Not Ideal!) and another thing that was not ideal, wearing these docs. I have had them since Christmas time and they still have not gave in yet! every time I wear them they insist on sheading through all 3 layers of my skin!

So apart from the fact I smelt, i couldn't take my jumper off because the shirt I had on underneath it was see through and that my feet were bleeding.. it was a good day! haha. Welcome to the Tragic life of Me.

Spotty Dotty

This is just a quick and really rubbish picture I snapped whilst I was rushing to get out the house so excuse the quality! Yesterday I went on a little shopping trip with one of my best friends. I wore this spotty silky top from the TOPSHOP sale, which I think ended up being about £8 or something! My plain black leggings are just from American Apparel and my velvet platforms are form ASOS!

So when I was out I picked up 'One day' This was mainly because my friends pressured me into buying it because she I reading it as well and says its amazing. I watched the film a while back and remember being so emotionally distraught by the ending that I just never watched it again. Has anyone else seen it? what did you think of it?

And lstly I picked up this little jumper, okay so first thing that stood out was the glitter, I was like 'OMG glitter!!! then I saw the price tag.... and it was £3.50! so I thought oh my god, I need to buy it. I think its so cute, it fits really well and I am looking forward to styling it! Happy Saturday guys!

What a girl wants.

All from ASOS!

Okay so, before I start uni I am going to need a new wardrobe. It I only fair to me! I am also trying to incorporate some more colour this season as I got far to into the monochrome trend earlier this summer!

I think the tartan print will be big this autumn, hence why I included the skater dress and the checked cardigan which sort of reflect this pattern. I think the dress is beautiful and full of autumn colours where as I think this cardigan will look awesome with just a pair of black jeans and a black top and will help to really set off any outfit!

And then there is that gorgeous blue silk playsuit! omg. I think I am in love with it! I love silk for a start, my wardrobe currently is full of silk shirts and skirts, so this playsuit is perfect for me! it also comes in a black but like I said, I am trying to push myself out of the darker colours. I think this electric blue will really set of my eyes and hair colour when/if I get it.

And lastly coats. a stable coat is essential for the autumn/winter period. So you have to get it right! I think I am edging more towards the oversized blazer (in the top right) because COLOUR! I am really trying to experiment haha.

To conclude, I think autumn is going to be full of crazy pattern, mixed up colours and textures. And strangely enough I am okay with that. So tell me, what are you guys expecting for this autumn trends?

Memories Are The Best Thing

So no longer than a week until Reading/Leeds festival 2013 will take place. For the last few years I have been waiting around for Leeds festival to start, comfortable that I will have a weekend of camping with my friends, having a good time and listening to great music live. And I loved it! the atmosphere, the people is just not like any other place and on that note I am ashamed to say that I will not be going this year. Everyone loves a good British festival.
A reason why I particularly enjoy festivals, take last year for example, I experience The Cure live and it was raining, but contrary to opinion it was probably one of the best experiences I had ever had. I had my willies on, my waterproof, my make up off, I hadn't showered in two days but the music kept on playing and the best thing was that no one cared! Who could judge?

I have been lucky to watch some brilliant bands thanks to the people who put on these events from Crystal Castles to The Foo fighter, The vaccines, Florence and the machines, The Cure! for gods sake and kasabian! Amazing. Memories are the best thing.
